High School Students
Breakthrough Atlanta's high school and college preparatory programs are designed to build upon your goals of academic excellence and personal development.

Throughout your years in high school, we sharpen your knowledge and quench your thirst for intellectual curiosity and civic engagement through programming, service learning, and local partnerships.
As a result, you'll gain tools for success - and you'll be prepared for today's competitive world of college admissions.
Our students' scholastic achievement, coupled with their desire to make a difference in the metro Atlanta community, has provided students with financial assistance to attend college-making a degree an exciting reality for our first generation college families. Many of our students have been recipients of partial to full scholarships to the school of their choice.
Additionally, students have been successful in obtaining the Gates Millennium Scholarship, among other nationally recognized scholarship programs.
Maximize your engagement in Breakthrough Atlanta! We encourage students to update their information and participate in the many programs we offer such as Middle School College Education Classes, High School Transition Program, School Year Program, College Test Preparation, Campus Visitation Programs, College Counseling, Senior Prep Consultations, and more!

"A breakthrough can be defined as the act of breaking through an obstacle. But to put it simply, a breakthrough is a change of thought. My journey with Breakthrough Atlanta began seven long summers ago. I was a young, eager rising seventh grader with goals in mind and ideas to share with others. Breakthrough provided me with a solid foundation, a strong support system for success in middle school and high school, and it has remained with me now as a college student at Brown University."
