About Us
The Lovett School
Breakthrough Atlanta makes its home on the picturesque campus of The Lovett School in Atlanta. As a member of the Lovett community since 1996, Breakthrough Atlanta has served over 700 students and more than 300 teacher interns.
The Lovett School campus offers some of the finest academic facilities in the region, with modern classrooms, technology, labs, performance spaces, physical fitness facilities, libraries, and more.
The school continually affirms Eva Edwards Lovett's founding vision of a progressive education rooted in learning, character, and community. Lovett's mission is to graduate young men and women of honor, faith, and wisdom and prepare them to succeed in college and as responsible citizens of the world. The school supports this mission by offering students integrated experiences in academics, arts, athletics, and service. Through these experiences, the school seeks to develop the whole child.
The Lovett School has generously hosted Breakthrough Atlanta as a partner in fulfilling our mission of placing students on a six-year path to college while inspiring the next generation of educators.
Testimonial
"At Breakthrough, you really feel like you are part of something special. The spirit of everyone around you fosters an environment of expectations that is so fundamental to ones success. These high expectations have guided me along my path to the Ivy League"
